Felicia is a Brooklyn-based ceramic artist. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a focus on steel sculpture, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Delaware. She also earned a Master’s degree in Art Therapy and Creativity Development from Pratt Institute. She has been an artist her entire life and her time in school has allowed her to develop her passion and grow into the artist she is today.

Felicia has over 25 years of experience working with clay, having learned to throw pottery on the wheel at just seven years old. She has further developed her skills through formal classes and by participating in multiple workshops with renowned potters such as Susan Beecher, Susan Bogen, Martha Grover, Kristen Keiffer, Sequoia Miller, Tony Clennell, Michael Boyer, and Randy Brodnax. Her influence comes from all the teachers she’s been lucky enough to study under, and from her own experiences in working with clay for as long as she has.

Felicia’s inspiration comes from nature, the occult, witchcraft, mandalas, and antique silver. She incorporates her own drawings and designs into her pieces, along with distinctive shapes and silhouettes. She enjoys spending her time listening to alternative music, watching horror movies, drinking both tea and beer, and cuddling with her two cats - Beetle and Benji.

You can find Felicia working as an independent artist in her personal practice, as an assistant at Nicholas Newcomb Pottery and Sculpture (NNPS), and as an instructor at Manhattan Youth, Supermud Pottery, and NNPS.
